MMN at the AFML and Previous Recommend-ations
The ASEAN Forum on Migrant Labour (AFML) is an annual platform to review, discuss, and exchange best practices and ideas between governments, workers’ and employers’ organisations, and civil society stakeholders on key issues facing migrant workers in Southeast Asia. It also serves to develop recommendations to advance the implementation of the principles of the ASEAN Declaration on Migrant Workers (2007). MMN has taken part in most of the AFMLs since its first meeting in 2008 to bring attention to the experiences of migrants from the Greater Mekong Subregion. Please see below for available records of MMN’s involvement in the AFML.
