As part of the Roles of Countries of Origin: Phase Two, MMN conducted research on the migration-related legislative and policy frameworks of Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam as countries of origin, as well as the support governments of these countries make available to their nationals at the pre-departure, overseas, and returning phases of the migration cycle. The findings of the research are presented in the publication Social Protection Across Borders: Roles of Countries of Origin in Protecting Migrants (2019), as well as Policy Briefs of Social Protection Across Borders: Roles of Countries of Origin in Protecting Migrants (2019), which are available in Burmese, Khmer, Vietnamese, and English.
