On 6 July 2025, the Mekong Migration Network (MMN), together with its partner organisations in Mae Sot, held a consultation meeting with migrant workers in Mae Sot, Tak, Thailand. The event aimed to strengthen migrant workers’ understanding of Thailand’s Social Security System (SSS) and offered a safe space for open discussion with representatives from the Mae Sot Social Security Office. Thirty-two migrant workers, mostly from garment factories, joined the session to learn about SSS benefits, procedures, and enrolment.
