The Confederation of Trade Union Myanmar (CTUM) was first established in 1991 in Bangkok, Thailand as the Federation of Trade Union Burma (FTUB). In July 23, 2015, CTUM became the only registered confederation in Burma. In addition to the activities of the trade union, CTUM has the Department of Labor to address the problems of employers and employees, brokers fraud, workers\u2019 problems in destination countries, and human trafficking.<\/p>
