The following articles draw from the report Social Protection Across Borders: Roles of Mekong Countries of Origin in Protecting Migrants’ Rights, which examines the role of Mekong countries of origin in improving migrant workers’ accesses to social protection programmes both at home and when abroad. As part of the study, MMN conducted research on the social protection programmes available to migrant workers in Thailand and Japan (under the Technical Internship Training Program).
